im trying to make my own guestbook, and your code has been a lot helpful! i didnt copy the whole thing bc i decided to use sql, but the bot-spam detection thing was helpful, i didnt think of that. i hope i can get through, if not i might just end up downloading your project lmao!

Hopefully it worked out for you! This one actually runs on SQL too but I didn't feel comfortable enough with my cybersecurity knowledge to put that into a frontend... I add everything from the back. Very efficient.

Thanks for the webhost links! Wanted to add maybe Awardspace isn't so great anymore. 404s redirect you to sketchy websites if you don't have one already set up. I realized I never put in my own 404 handling when I got sent to a shady video game giftcard site & other random places. Not cool to have them steal redirects like that. :C

Thanks for the data point! I'll include that as a caveat. I've never used Awardspace, but I include both "good" and "bad" hosts on the list so people have all the information they need to make a decision.
